Arne Jacobsen

Arne Jacobsen was an architect and designer who lived from 1902 to 1971. His most famous designs are "Model 7" and "The egg."

This chair is the Model 7 with arm rests. It is really simple with only wood and metal components. The lack of ornate details and decorations gives them a more natural and almost futuristic feel.

These chairs were designed for the lobby of a building in Copenhagen. The chairs look like they perfectly encompass anyone who sits in them. The shape is a little more complex than some of the others Arne designed but they still seem simple and very down to earth.

This dining set was designed by Jacobsen in 1969, but look like they could be from 10 years ahead of us. Again the prominent white color and lack of details give the set a futuristic feel.
